The specialty of the village is the plateau cabbage, which is grown on the cool, high altitudes of 800 - 1000m (2625 - 4593 ft). Tsumagoi Plateau Cabbage is praised as the best in Japan.

Effects and characteristics of Hot Springs

This is a hydrogen carbonate chloride spring at 35°C (95°F) in brown color.

Hydrogen carbonate chloride spring is said to be effective for joint pain and arthritis. Tsumakoi Onsen is also known as Oku Shikanoyu.

Tsumagoi Onsen is also called Manza Area that includes Manza Onsen and Kazawa Onsen.
