"In the spring, cherry blossoms, in the summer the cuckoo. In autumn the moon, and in winter the snow, clear, cold", so wrote Dogen Zenji. So it is at this Shaga-no-Sato Yumeya. The scent of the plants and the birdsongs change with the seasons. The moon waxes and wanes and the white snow covers those waiting for spring. This is an inn of sukiya architecture where guests can enjoy an experience akin to soaking in nature. Sliding glass shoji windows, sliding karakami-lined doors, noren curtains, paper lamps, tatami: The simplicity enhances your relaxation. In terms of relaxation the hot spring is also important. The newly opened Kaminosato Onsen at the site of the 300-year-old Iwamuro hot springs features 100% natural high quality hot spring water. In the public bath and the open-air bath you can enjoy the landscape changing by each season. In the room's private bath you can also enjoy the herbal bath of the month. Rice, miso, seafood, and mountain food are carefully selected and prepared for your meals. This inn welcomes you with feasts of Echigo that are simple yet deep. The beautifully changing nature of the gardens and a silent hospitality. When these two heartfelt welcomes come together, you meet the deep loving form of the seasons of Echigo.

There are an indoor bath and an open-air bath where you can enjoy the private source Izumi Uenogo Onsen that opened in April 2012. The place where the newborn hot spring was dug is near the entrance to Yumeya's entrance. We dug up to a point 1303m underground where we reached the high-quality hot spring vein, and hot water of 56.6 degrees came out. Enjoy the dream and proud 100% natural hot spring. Large bath Yumeminoyu The ceiling is high and it is a relaxing space with the scent of a Japanese cypress bath. When you look up at the open-air bath connected from the indoor bath, the starry sky spreads out on a sunny day. It is recommended to use the hot spring in the morning as well as at night. Spring quality: Sulfur-containing sodium/calcium chloride hot spring Benefits: Cuts, burns, chronic skin diseases, frail children, chronic gynecological diseases, etc.Read moreClose

Responding to the emergency declaration: This time, an emergency situation was declared in all prefectures including Niigata prefecture, and all prefectures aim to reduce the chances of contact by at least 70%, 80% as much as possible in order to bring all the prefectures together and conclude the situation. Attitude was shown. We are open for business while implementing infection prevention measures, but as we ask for refraining from going out, we are worried whether we can continue or not. Originally, this is a small inn with only 11 rooms, so we rarely meet other people, but we will continue to operate by reducing the size of our customers and making the staff's service time as short as possible. We apologize for the inconvenience, but we would appreciate your understanding. Check-in and check-out will be done in your room. Dinner will be served in your room or in a private room, and for breakfast, leave your seat (5 meters or more) and leave your time. Dinner start time is from 17:30 to 18:30. Last order for liquor at dinner is 20:00 and room service is until 21:30. * For customers outside Niigata Prefecture, please make a reservation after May 6th. In addition, it may be closed just before.Read moreClose
