Near the east coast of Awaji Island, yacht harbor! On December 24, 2019, "Umino Hotel Shimahana Residence Villa" opened in the quiet resort area of Santopia Marina on December 24, 2019. Of the two villas that are limited to 5 groups per day, the villa with a hot spring open-air bath in Gran Villa is a luxury space of about 360 square meters that only one set of guests can occupy. 4 bedrooms, an open-air bath, a bedrock bath and a living/dining room with a kitchen are also available for private use. The other garden villa building has been made out of a taken over a villa designed by Kenzo Tange, a master of modern Japanese architecture, and architect Yukihiro Hashimoto has redesigned it into four rooms with open-air baths. A seaside hotel, Shimahana's residence villa, offers a relaxed stay, like being at home. This is where people from all over the world with their different cultures can drop their anchor and stay one or two nights, where the birds sound like they are singing on the morning breeze.
