The life you can feel must be connected to the future era. Please feel this comfort and breath for yourself. Kurashiki is a town with popular folk song movement and the second oldest Japanese Folk Crafts Museum that was built in Japan in 1948. It is the place where the oldest son of Soichiro Ohara who made the Kurashiki Folkcraft Museum and businessman Magosaburō Ōhara who built the Japanese Folk Crafts Museum while supporting Muneyoshi Yanagi by donation. We think there is something special about staying at this “living accommodation” the town where such temperament is still passed on. Experience separation from daily life during time at the town in the middle of Bikan Historical Quarter. Please bring back to your own lifestyle what you discover at our inn.

We do not provide meals at “Temari.” Local staff will recommend and guide you Bikan Historical Quarter shops when you arrive. It is an inn for only one group per day. Please let us know your arrival time in advance as we do not have a front desk. There is no TV. We do not prepare a TV as our concept is to feel hand crafted goods at our inn. There are stairs at the entrance. It is a style that you take stairs to your room as we want to keep alive the old style.Read moreClose
